Custom AEM translation plugin.

DevHandler engineered and enhanced a custom AEM plugin for Smartcat, rebuilding the integration to support complex enterprise workflows. Drupal to AEM migration

AI Content at Scale in AEM: 2026 Playbook

As generative AI moves from “assist” to “automate,” content teams risk trading speed for inconsistent brand voice, compliance gaps, and low-trust outputs. This article lays out an AEM-centered operating model: define where AI is allowed to draft vs. must be reviewed, add governance (RACI, policies, guardrails), and treat observability as a first-class requirement with KPIs like time-to-publish, revision rate, and compliance incidents. It also argues for measuring AI “discoverability” (SEO → GEO) and using phased maturity targets through 2026. Tech leaders should treat AI content as a product pipeline—not a plugin—so scale doesn’t break governance.

Make enterprise websites citable in AI-generated search answers

AI search answers cite sources an LLM can “read,” so pages that don’t render cleanly for bots can vanish from discovery. DevHandler reviews Adobe’s “Is Your Webpage Citable?” Chrome extension, which compares an agent-style fetch with the rendered page and produces a citation-readability score. It flags blockers—heavy client-side rendering, crawl/access limits, and weak structure signals (titles, headings, alt text, schema/metadata)—and suggests a GEO loop: baseline key pages, improve HTML delivery via SSR/prerendering, strengthen structured signals, then rescan. CTOs and platform owners should add AI-readability checks to release governance because it affects authority and qualified traffic in AI search.

Global-first strategy is becoming essential as companies expand across markets and languages. Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and AEM Sites together enable fast, scalable, and multilingual content delivery.
