Rethinking mental health services with AI

Mental healthcare systems are under growing strain. Demand is rising, access remains uneven, wait times are long, and care teams are overloaded. AI is becoming a strategic necessity. Its role in diagnostics and operations is already well-established, while its potential in mental health is not yet fully realized. However, AI can address the industry's most persistent challenge: the gap between rising demand and limited clinical resources. In this article, we share thoughts on why traditional approaches struggle and what are strategic AI capabilities for mental healthcare.
