Agentic AI Requires Claims Architecture Modernization

Agentic AI can perform well in insurance claims PoCs, but production environments often expose architecture gaps around real-time data, integration logic and consistent system state. The article explains why batch processing, monolithic core systems, REST wrappers over legacy SOAP services, asynchronous updates and fragmented claims data make autonomous process decisions difficult to control. It also highlights the need for event-based integration, clear state models, observability, decision logs and resilient orchestration.
